The AMRC Journal
For over twenty years, the University of Sheffield’s Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) has led innovation across aerospace, defence, maritime, and medical sectors. With major partners like Boeing, Airbus, and BAE Systems, and neighbours including Rolls-Royce and McLaren. The AMRC is a powerhouse of applied research and industrial collaboration.
Our brief was to support their high-performing team on the production of their flagship quarterly journal, stepping in when time and capacity were tight. Founded 50 years ago, Yorkshire Netball wanted to evolve from being a functional governing body into a vibrant, inclusive, and progressive force in Northern sport.
The rebrand aimed to shift perceptions from an organisation focused on competition
to a movement that champions empowerment, connection, and pride in netball
across Yorkshire.
Its strength lies in uniting Yorkshire pride with inclusive empowerment.
While others focus on performance, Yorkshire Netball can own the emotional
space of belonging, “where everyone in Yorkshire has a place to play, grow, and belong”, becoming both a symbol of identity and a driver of positive change.
